You know there is a common phrase; “the rich get richer and the
poor get poorer” and how it sounds so true if you look at it from a subsistence
point of view- well, it goes beyond that because
some people actually consider them less fortunate and less valuable, while
other base success and prosperity as a result of luck.
Even in the mist of this believe in wealthy and poverty and how one is conceived better than the other, there is this strange notion that most successful people are resentful, lonely or not happy (restless) while the so called poor people, although complaining of their disgrace rather consider themselves happier than their adversaries, if I must put it like that.
Should we actually reason that
poor people want to be rich and the rich want to be poor, because it sounds
like that, don’t it? Yet if we do, what do we make out of this bizarre appearance of rich and poor?
While this ‘poor world’ and
the ‘rich world’ comportment's looks like they are far apart from each other,
they kind of weigh equally if you look at them from many different
perspectives anyway.
Before I bring out my stance on human believe in the best of both
worlds, I decided to look around for some significance of the topic and I have
here at least six basic findings to move the above notion of ‘rich and poor;’
The best of
both worlds:
1. It
has become common that in most prosperous families, children are often being
less attended to, less cared for and are lonely as they are often siblings of
not more than three children - with their parent busy to make ants meat round the clock, while in less privileged families; love, care and
joy surrounds them, more so to the extent that the family can grow to more than
ten sibling from the same parents, even if both parent are unemployed. Amazing but true!
2. Less
privileged heads of households are often happy with a basic salary, while some
are depressed by possible accumulating debts, inability to provide beyond their
current position, while prosperous heads of family are the same depressed and
concerned because of their class of standing and how it would affect their life
if they fail to keep up, hence they constantly pursue new opportunities and are
restless, seeking new pastures even if it cost their peacefulness, a stance
which is contrary to the other who are relaxed and accepting the basics.
3. It
is also found that poorer families are less health careful and do not consider
their length of life while the rich are more health centered, looking to be
better all the time. While the richer enjoy family happiness with the blessings
of their old people (grandparents), the poorer people lose their grandparents
at a younger age. I guess this is a possible balance of point one above.
4. On
the part of education it is found that rich folks are better at going to universities
and poor families are mostly dropping out from secondary schools (US: junior
and junior-high schools). On the contrary most of them that go to universities
drop out eventually and find the other in the workforce with an average
supervisor rank, which they gained in the couple of years during which the
richer was going to university. Practically poorer people are more hands on and
rich are more idea logic and theoretical and they both need each other, a
perfect balance.
5. While
I have established that rich couple are prone to divorce more quickly it is
also clear that both have matrimonial problems similar to each other. The point
however is that richer people pursue legal action far too fast than poorer
people, because of financial means and self-decision, while people with lesser
wealth often consider the input and view of family and friends before
continuing any action and such advice often boils down to maintaining and
persevere through the marriage, a result which would have been the contrary if
financial ability to end a marriage was available.
6. Insurance
and savings plays a vital role in peoples lives and when I looked at types of
insurance rich and poor take I was rather moved to know that while rich people
like to have insurance for restoration such as property fire cover insurance,
life and disability cover as well as old age cover and returning investments
insurances less able people have funeral cover as the main insurances with savings
of less than seventy two day notice bank account saving only.
It is also fair to say that
the rich and poor classified here are not based on colour or ethnicity because
there are rich and poor in all groups of colour and biological belonging.
Let me also say that this is
not a general notation because I personally have and you may have as well come across many rich people
that are happier than ever and which care for each other, and in the same I know of
a lot of less privileged people which are so self-controlled to consume all
they have as though they were richer than anyone else.
So whats the point?
In remedy of the differences
here above, my argument is that everything is based on believe. Believe is the
sentiment in our people system, which kick off before goals, objectives, the
pursued of happiness and perseverance comes into place.
Believe is that conclusion
inside of you, it is that acceptance and
the peace or terror that comes with it – peace; if you believe in something
good in your view and terror; if you believe in what is contrary to your view.
My take on this therefore is,
life does not bring poor or rich people, able or unable people and in the same life
is not driven by luck or fortune, yet everything is based on believing with
faith; seeing, trusting and saying things that are not, as though they are.
The
best example of what I mean here above is illustrated in the movie “The Pursuit of
Happiness” by Will Smith. I am sure any body that watch that movie will agree with me that that deep believe in us that we can or cannot do it, makes the difference of being classified poor or rich.
After all, 'rich and poor' are just the given term for the situation you are in and it has nothing to do with the person you are.
People that regard them poor,
must pursue more to get wealth, while people that consider themselves prosperous
must balance their lives and that is the best of both worlds.
Finally I must congratulate either class of people for making it
through the bad weather each are facing by attaching this common quote I like so much: “with great power comes
great responsibility” and that is just the same in opposite, that with lesser
power comes lesser responsibility, but that does not rule out the back and
forth, the ups and downs and all that we face in the pursued of happiness.
So tell me your power if it is great or less, please share your views
because I will be waiting,
Have fun!
